Original Glue was an accidental creation by the late, great breeder Joesy Whales. It all started when some of Whales’ Chem Sis plants “hermied” and pollinated his Sour Dubb plants. Disappointed and tired of seeded gardens, he tossed out the strain. However, his buddy Mardogg saved some of the seeds, planting them about a year later. Mardogg ended up with four phenotypes of Original Glue and decided that #4 was worth keeping. This is now widely referred to as “GG4” and “Original Glue”. This strain name comes from the flower’s ability to “glue” up scissors during the trimming process due to its prominent trichome coverage. A worldwide award-winner since its birth, Original Glue’s aroma and flavor profile have pleasingly pungent earthy and sour kush notes.
