The director duo of Abbas-Mastan, known for making thriller and suspense movies, is planning a remake of the Hollywood movie ‘Italian Job’ which would be in true Indian colors.
‘Italian Job’ was first made in 1969 and then again in 2003. Both the times, the movie was a great hit.
Director Abbas has given many hit movies and said, “ Whenever we pick a film, we ry our best to show it from an Indian perspective. Studio 18 has purchased the rights of the film ‘Italian Job’ and we can use them whenever we like to. The film would be shown completely in the Indian background.”
He told, “ We will increase the role of actresses in this film by two and some American actresses could be seen as well in this movie. One of the famous actors of today would be seen acting as a villain. We want this film to be better than the original version.”
Studio 18 has given them the chance to make this film after watching the thriller ‘Race’ which was directed by the duo of Abbas-Mastan.
